NBC’s Conan O’Brien Show
“The Ventriloquist Dummy Choir”

Since 1995 we have appeared on the Conan O’Brien show with our little wooden partners over twenty times. With each appearance we sang a different holiday song.

We have met many celebrities such as Barbara Eden, Tony Bennet, James Brown, Cindy Lauper, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Louie Anderson, Bill Paxton, Michael J. Fox, Elijah Wood, Tommy Lasorda and many more.

The Highlight of being on the show happened in 1997. The show is also seen in Europe on NBC’s Super Channel, and when a Hungarian talk show host saw us, he knew he wanted us on his show. His office arranged to have us flown to Budapest for a special appearance on his show “The Fridercuz Show”. We sang “Yesterday” by the Beatles. After the show we dined with the Prime Minister of Hungary.

For the four days that we were there, they treated us first class all the way. They put us up in a five star hotel with the finest meals in the finest restaurants. Our tour guides were two armed body guards who looked after our personal safety at all times.

Southern Fried Chicken Welcomes John Carlson to Celebrate Grand Openings

John was flown to the United Arab Emirates (Persian Gulf) recently to perform for the customers on the day of the Grand openings for the SFC Group (Southern Fried Chicken). The performances were held at the three new fast food stores in Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi. In addition to the store openings, John also performed his family show at the 49’ers Night Club and the adults there had lots of laughs and enjoyed good wholesome family entertainment.

Mr. Carlson received a great response from the Associated Press in the Gulf Region and appeared in the Khaleej Times and the Gulf News. John was also mentioned on FM radio spots as a special attraction to the restaurants.

The SFC group was so impressed with John’s performances and the overwhelming response from the customers that they immediately contracted with John for all future store openings in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Canada.
